Our English Coordinator, Mrs Hailey Bootes, will present a seminar for parents with children in Years 7 to 12 to explain and demonstrate one of the most effective practices used in Secondary School to consolidate, enhance and extend students' analytical writing. This practice has been embedded in English classes in Secondary School, and an improvement in student understanding, analytical skills, and writing has been seen across Years 7 to 12. The seminar will assist parents in understanding and encouraging their children's textual analysis, analytical writing and essay-building by demonstrating modelled examples. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the seminar.
This seminar is a repeat of the one that took place earlier in Term 1.
