Thank you for considering a role at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Christian School.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Christian School works hard to ensure the selection process is as transparent, fair, thorough and straightforward as possible. Every time a role is advertised, a contact is provided for applicants who require further information or clarification about the position.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø only employs committed Christians from a reformed evangelical persuasion. Your Christian faith will be explored as part of the application and interview process and employment will be dependent on your affirmation to the school’s Code of Conduct and Statement of Belief.
To assist with the Employment Application Form and potential interviews, it is recommended that all candidates read through the important documents on our Recommended Readings.
All applications for roles at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, including casual positions, need to include the following documentation:
Please note: No application will be considered without this information. For the successful candidate, your Working With Children Check number (WWCC) will be verified.
Please contact the HR Manager at admin@covenant.nsw.edu.au or 02 8459 4200 if you need assistance with your application.
Applications will be considered through to the closing date. Your suitability for the role will be looked at considering your fit with the core responsibilities of the job description, plus the experience, qualifications and skills sought in the role. Interviews will be offered to the best suited candidates and the school reserves the right to commence interviews prior to the closing date where it may be expedient to do so.
Interviews are generally conducted with a small panel of interviewers and preferred candidates will attend a second interview with the Principal (apart from casual positions, which only require one interview).
For roles reporting directly to the Principal, an interview with a panel of Board members will also be part of the selection process.
Questions will investigate your faith journey, work history, professional knowledge, performance and achievements, your work style, key capabilities and development areas.
Prior to a second interview, we will arrange to speak with your professional and minister/pastor referees. As the preferred candidate you will be required to submit to a NSW Working with Children Check for verification before employment commences.
